Appearance: Rosa has midback-length hair, usually pulled up into a high ponytail with some loose strands framing her face. She has blue eyes, and stands at 5'4". She tends to wear airy clothing and anything that lets her move freely. Rosa also has a pair of earrings that do not come off, ever. She has bits of armour that are scattered on her normal clothing, including on her shoulders and on her knees.

The shoulder armour pieces hold up the cape she wears; on her arms starting at her upper arm are sleeve-like arm covers, with a loop that goes around her middle finger on both hands to keep them in place. Made from the same fabric are her leggings, extending from her waist (though unseen) to her feet (also unseen), and she wears ankle-boots. The sword worn around her waist on her belt is more for decoration, as she uses bows and arrows, or a staff for her weapons of choice.

Personality: Rosa is a very soft-spoken individual, often introverted and quiet. However, in contrast to this, she will speak her mind when it's needed, and she will be stubborn on matters she feels strongly about. Rosa is highly protective of those she considers a friend (and of those she loves), and would do anything to help them. Along with her speaking her mind, she's very strong-willed; once her mind is set on something, she'll follow through to the end, no matter what the cost.

When talking to Rosa, she's introverted as mentioned before. Once she has befriended someone, she's more open and not so shy. She does not get mad easily, but when she does, she can be a force to be reckoned with. Of course, to counter this, Rosa is normally smiling and happy enough, even if it doesn't show all the time.

Rosa is also very level-headed, and is usually the one who will try to talk things through with people if there is a problem they're having. She believes that having a course of action instead of jumping into the fray is the best course for anything. She's also good at stopping arguments to an extent, hopefully getting both sides to see reason, as she hates to see people she cares for argue and maybe even start physical fights with each other. While she's not exactly a pacifist, she doesn't like fighting at all.

Abilities/Strengths: Rosa is a white mage, capable of healing magic and defensive magic, and even some magic to stop, mute, and the ultimate magic, Holy. She's not very strong physically, but her magical prowess is magnificent, as well as her magic defense. She's also a level head when the situation calls for it, knowing that panic and anger get someone nowhere when a situation turns dire. Rosa is also very easy to talk to, as per her personality, and she cares a lot about people in general.

Weaknesses: Rosa is weak to physical attacks, as being physically weak hinders her physical defense. Black magic is also a problem for her, even though her magical defense is high. Being targeted for kidnapping is also a problem for her. Caring too much for people is a double-edged sword for her, as it is a good thing and a very bad thing for her. Caring too much can get one in trouble. She also tends to rely on her friends if she needs the extra help in a battle, which goes back to the physically weak aspect of her.

History: Rosa Farrell was born to a soldier and white mage in Template, both working for the King's Army. Her parents taught her various things, before she enrolled in the school to become a white mage like her mother, and follow in her footsteps. She exhibited a strong power, and excelled in her classes, living up to the standards that her teachers had for her, considering who she was a daughter to. She graduated with no problems, and went to work in the castle.

During her schooling, she met Kain Highwind, and befriended him with ease, despite his icy attitude. Through him, she met Cecil Harvey, a dark knight who was Kain's best friend, and already going into the army for the king. Soon, Rosa fell for Cecil hard, and she swore that she would be the white mage that he needed in battle. For a while, she and Cecil dated, though she became unhappy with their relationship. There was something missing, and it was driving her nuts. Soon after coming home from a mission to Mysidia, Cecil was given a mission to go to Mist, and deliver a package to the person in charge there. Rosa visited Cecil in his room the night before he and Kain were to set off, to find him a mess about what had happened in Mysidia, and that he had been demoted from the Red Wings. Rosa did all she could to comfort him, before wishing him luck and telling him to be careful on his way to Mist. She couldn't tell him her feelings just yet.

While Rosa had no knowledge of what happened in Mist, that never stopped her from worrying, and when she heard that an earthquake had hit there, she promptly went out to look for Cecil and Kain, as the dragoon had gone with Cecil to Mist. However, on her way out, she contracted a sickness, and was brought into Kaipo, where she had horrible visions and delusions about what happened to Cecil. Cecil had come to Kaipo by chance with Rydia, where he saw the ailing Rosa. He set out to get what was needed to cure her by going to Damacyan castle, and getting help from Edward, a bard, and Tellah, an old sage of magic. Upon their return to Kaipo, they healed Rosa, and told her about the problem in Damacyan, and that they had to find a man named Golbez and stop him from committing horrible acts in the name of the Red Wings and in the name of Template.

From Kaipo, they traveled to Mt. Hobs, where they met Yang, a monk of Fabul. They explained their situation to Yang, who took the group to Fabul to tell the king that Golbez and Template's army would be going to try and take their crystal from the castle. The men of the group helped try to keep Golbez's forces at bay, but the crystal was still taken... by Kain, who had been under Golbez's control. Golbez, with the help of Kain, kidnapped Rydia, bringing her to the Tower of Zot. Golbez devised a plan to get the Earth Crystal of Troia, by bargining with Rydia's life for the crystal to the group, who had been looking for her. Golbez knew that they couldn't leave the young girl alone and near death as Golbez had threatened to kill her. Agreeing, Cecil and his friends borrowed the crystal from Troia after retrieving it from the dark elf, and bring it to the tower, and not only get Rydia back, but Kain as well. It was then that Rosa told Cecil of her feelings, and instead they remained friends, needing to trust each other for the rest of their journey to save Rydia. From the tower, it was off to the underworld, after Kain gave them information that Golbez not only needed the crystals from the overworld, but from the underworld as well.

After quite a few battles and new friends by the dwarves, Cecil and his group learned of the location of the final crystal, in which was needed to go to the moon, or so Golbez said. So, they figured that they could get the final crystal before Golbez, and keep it from him. However, that plan backfired as Golbez followed them into the cave to steal the crystals in Cecil's possession. With him, he also took Kain once again, and he was off to the moon. What Golbez didn't expect was that Cecil had learned about the Lunar Whale, a vessel in which would bring them to the moon as well. So, traveling to Mysidia, Rosa boarded the Lunar Whale with Cecil and the others, and off they went to the moon, where they encountered FuSoYa, a Lunarian who told the group of Cecil's lineage, and that Golbez was Cecil's brother. He also told them that Golbez wasn't the one who was doing all of this, and that a Lunarian who had become angry with the humans forced control over the unsuspecting half-Lunarian. It was clear what needed to happen.

Cecil and his group returned to the earth to fight off the Giant of Bab-il, who would destroy the world for Zemus, the being that controlled Golbez. Once the giant had been placated and stopped, they returned to the moon to fight Zemus. Upon his defeat, they returned to the earth. Knowing that she had feelings for another man, Rosa tried to find him, however he had gone off to Mount Ordeals to rid himself of what he had done. Trying to find him was very taxing, and gradually, she gave up. Sort of. He'd have to come home eventually. Until Kain came back, she'd wait for him. Rosa would take her chances with that, even if he showed no interest in her. It never stopped her from trying.
